Founded in the mid 1950’s Spartan Chemical has grown to become one of the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality cleaning products reaching five continents with a simple goal of making clean simple.
The company’s 135-acre headquarter campus located just outside of Toledo, Ohio features a 600,000 square-foot manufacturing facility which was recently expanded to include new meeting areas, including a new executive boardroom.
MAKING MEETINGS SIMPLE
The custom wood boardroom table was a close collaboration between SoundCom engineers and Paul Downs Cabinetmakers. The result was a magnificent table where the technology components remained relatively hidden, yet incredibly functional.
Table interfaces were skillfully integrated into the table so that laptop, data, and power connections were easy to access with a clean, polished aesthetic look.
The boardroom table has several Clock Audio low-profile boundary microphones installed with whisper-touch LED status rings that change from green when the microphones are on to red when they are muted. This helps everyone in the room have a clear visual understanding of the status of the audio system.
The system includes a Biamp TesisaFORTE audio digital signal processing system with full acoustic echo cancellation technology so that audio conference calls are crisp and clear.
In addition to hard-wired laptop connections in the table, the system also has a Mersive Solstice wireless media pod installed so that anyone with a mobile device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone) can easily show content on the screen without using any wires at all.
The entire system is controlled using a Crestron DigitalMedia distribution and control system. A simple to use touch screen is located at the boardroom table which operates all aspects of the audio visual system and even controls the room’s lights and motorized shades.
